Just paid about $38 for five pounds of organic Grade 1 Ethiopian green coffee beans (still cheaper than organic at the store and fresh when you say fresh), which will be roasted in my $6 thrift store popcorn popper with designer-cut soup can to accommodate somewhat smaller size of popper - 1/2 cup or so takes eight minutes around the sunny part of the day, longer if not, and worth it. Harrar, I think, is the name. Blueberry and Chocolate. Haven't tasted it yet, but by Wednesday I hope to have one good supremely tasty cup of coffee.

i thought this was going to be a thread about coffee?

what happened?

let´s get back on topic,

coffee is the only drug you can actually enjoy with breakfast,

and it tastes and smells amazing!

i´m looking for some tips ona good coffee brand,

i normally go to 7 eleven and get a medium size cup to have with my breakfast,

which is normally a sandwich,

but i am thinking of getting a coffee maker to brew some at home!

i want some good coffee, nothing fancy just good!

i remember when i was a kid, my parents drank folgers,

The coffee maker is important... most don't brew hot enough to properly extract the coffee goodness. After years of replacing my mr coffee maker every couple years, and having enough of the labor intensive French Press, I spent the extra money for a Bunn thermal carafe turbo that makes a pot in 3 min. Coffee stays warm for hours. Never going back.

I like coffee from a local roaster and usually get African varieties, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Brazil and Columbia produce good ones. Kona is always too thin for me. Blue Mtn too expensive.

I even have Folgers on hand in case I run low... nothing wrong with that one.

Worse coffee ever?

Sanka instant decaf several years old crusted inside the jar.

I had the displeasure decades ago when my Grandmother offered me a cup of coffee.

Ok, the decafinating process uses methylene chloride used to extract strychnine. It is thus molecularly bonded with strychnine thus strychnine risk is from non neutralized methylene choride. They have skipped a process.

Thus the strychnine risk is from DECAFF.

I drink about 30 mugs of coffee a day every day
Then i heard a little ditty not long ago that 120 cups a day of coffee is considered lethal

I was 1/4 killing myself everyday just with coffee , then smoking myself to death my M/J , AND THE DRINKING Jptdknpa
i must be immortal

Here in the U.K you can buy Starbucks coffee in Tesco when on offer for £ 2.50 OR 3$ , MAKE ABOUT 12 Starbuck coffees at home then take the empty bag to a starbuck shop and get a free large coffee , value 3$ or your money back .

just for handing the bag in , and this offer has been going on for years Lmao

instant,

The instant coffee was for the peasants! She kept the good stuff for herself. If you really want to try a good coffee, you should indulge yourself with some Jamaican Blue Mountain beans, or farm direct Kona beans from Hawaii. We're talking upper tier coffee.
