my grandma was aserious coffee drinker,

she roasted her own, i got the recipe from her,

but she always kept a jar of taster´s choice on hand,

instant,

The instant coffee was for the peasants! She kept the good stuff for herself. If you really want to try a good coffee, you should indulge yourself with some Jamaican Blue Mountain beans, or farm direct Kona beans from Hawaii. We're talking upper tier coffee.

https://www.amazon.com/Farm-direct-Coffe...ZJQH19JM12

sounds like a plan,

Cheer

Today is your lucky day, there will never be another day like it!

Ahhh, just finished a cup of Tanzanian Peaberry brewed strong. Really good.

I think I like the African varieties best (for now)...

$%&#! I try to keep my coffee intake to a minimum. When I'm out somewhere it's easy to avoid. The LINES! No way. When they replace the few and slow humans behind the counter with kiosks and robots, then they will get my business. But at home .. that's when I'm most vulnerable. I noticed as I get older coffee becomes more potent. I once had to consume about 200 mg of caffeine for it to have any effect. Now it takes as little as 100 mg. And now I feel like having a cup or 2 because I saw this thread. Thanks. Kkqqcpdh

A couple bong hits in the morning perk me up. I avoided coffee for about 8 years. Started again last October. I stopped because I was the cause of every headache I've ever experienced. I stopped all sources for strong caffeine. But, last year I was out and in the mood and .. well, I hadn't had a cigarette in about 7 year too and so I felt like celebrating. I had a smoke and a tall strong latte. I waited for the caffeine to kick in before lighting up the smoke.

Anyhow, the urge to drink coffee came back to me, the nicotine not so much. I do have an eCig I had to use last month to get my taxes done. So since then, I've been trying to keep it to 0-2 cups a day. If I keep my intake of caffeine under 200 mg max a day, and skip some days, I think I can avoid migraines again.

If you start a caffeine intake you get a headache. If you quit your caffeine intake abruptly you get a headache .

My favorite home brew was espresso roast Verismo pods based coffee. Expensive, over a dollar a cup.

Second favorite was the espresso roast beans from there.

But I'm still boycotting Starbucks.

Need a new reliable.

Well, yeah! Morning coffee...

You're probably a typical American like me. I don't give a crap what it is as long as it's coffee. But every now and then I might drink it for taste ?

Well I never think of class when you come to mind.

However, I'll drink anything besides decaf without complaint in most cases.

Sometimes it means slumming.

Yeah, the withdrawal symptoms are horribly painful. You would think aneurysms are exploding in your head.
