I'd say about 10% of the women in here are real

It's delusional thinking that structured social systems are somehow inherently better or more moral or wiser than individuals acting of their own accord and free will.

I've come to accept that I'm going through the change of life and will just be too bitchy to post for the next few years now.

This seems like a troll to me, so I will answer
as someone who went through the change early due to surgery...the worst part is the hot flashes, imo)

Reading about all the horrible things happening to my body right now and the after effects I can look forward to is very depressing to say the least. To summarize all the material I've been reading on this whole menopause thing and what can be expected:

"Ladies"...
* If you are attractive, that is about to change.

if your standard is that only young is beautiful...then, yes

* If you have beautiful, thick, flowing blonde hair, that is about to change.

no, not in my case...didn't thin a bit

* If you have nice skin and good muscle tone, that is about to change.

I did loose a little muscle tone, but exercise can counter that, make sure you are getting calcium

* If you have perky boobs, that is about to change.

actually, it is the wearing of bras that contributes the most to the saggy boob syndrome, as well as being bad for your lymphatic system. I quit wearing them over a year ago and mine have perked up...it hurt at first, but the muscles rebounded. I do wear a spandex type thing, I'm a c cup, so maybe some of the larger boobed ladies would not be so lucky with this method

* If you like sex, that is about to change.

no it isn't

* If men want to have sex with you, that is about to change.

not in my experience

* Some sh*t is going to be happening to your twat that you don't even want to think about... "atrophy" & "fever blisters" were a couple things mentioned. Do Kagels and squats until you want to beat someone senseless.

eww, you shouldn't believe everything you read
Oh god! I hope that was all b.s.

* If you are used to being potty trained, that is about to change. More Kagels and squats. Buy some adult diapers.

lol

* If you had a cheerful, sunny disposition, that is about to change.

yeah, in some situations, but not all...you are generalizing, but when the inner inferno of the hot flash hits...may get a bit devilish

You get the gist. Everything wonderful about my body and life is about to be replaced with something shitty. Tissue

So yeah, I'm going to go off and be angry and bitter about this crap by myself now. Have a nice day!
End

Okay, I'm just going to hang in here and chill out.

a question for the girls,

why do women in the north america get osteoporois.... when in fact they eat so much cheese and drink so much milk?

isn´t this a contradiction?

in a way it is ...lack of calcium and vitamin d are not the only contributing factors

other things can lead to the condition
including heavy drinking and smoking
genetic and hereditary factors

in my case as a woman of 49, I don't think I consumed enough calcium through a lot of my life (I like cheese alright, but never have been a milk drinker), is why I recommended it in above post, but I should have mentioned the vitamin D

I think calcium isn't always absorbed properly and vitamin d greatly helps with that, so calcium alone isn't effective without the vit d

so, I guess in that way it is a contradiction because we do hear a lot about the calcium, which we can get plenty of in our diet, but we don't always get enough vit D, which I think is hard to get enough from food alone.

It good you pointed out Vit D is need in conjunction but you missed the biggie: Calcium is only up taken into the bones during exertion. No exercise, no uptake. You can take all the calcium you want, it will just give you kidney stones if you don't exercise too!

you are both wrong,

calcium and magnesium work together,

if the there is little magnesium in the diet,

calcium can´t do it´s job,

and because i am hard you will not like me, but the harder i am the more you will learn!

you are both wrong,

calcium and magnesium work together,

if the there is little magnesium in the diet,

calcium can´t do it´s job,

"Vitamin D
The body needs vitamin D to absorb calcium. Without enough vitamin D, one can’t form enough of the hormone calcitriol (known as the “active vitamin D”). This in turn leads to insufficient calcium absorption from the diet. In this situation, the body must take calcium from its stores in the skeleton, which weakens existing bone and prevents the formation of strong, new bone.
You can get vitamin D in three ways: through the skin, from the diet, and from supplements. Experts recommend a daily intake of 600 IU (International Units) of vitamin D up to age 70. Men and women over age 70 should increase their uptake to 800 IU daily, which also can be obtained from supplements or vitamin D-rich foods such as egg yolks, saltwater fish, liver, and fortified milk. The Institute of Medicine recommends no more than 4,000 IU per day for adults. However, sometimes doctors prescribe higher doses for people who are deficient in vitamin D."

While I may have forgotten to mention Magnesium, neither I nor the other poster are wrong. You really need to check you BS attitude and know-it-all crap you spew constantly.

You didn't use to be so obnoxious, but you certainly have started to become so.

Well, thanks for pointing that out, I did mention in my above post where I addressed the menopause complaint, that exercise and the calcium in relation to loosing muscle mass...good thing I get plenty of exertion...I have strong bones.

Thanks for providing that information ... I had a moment where I thought about that ... the Magnesium, but that wasn't the question, but I digress.

I thought the little dig to the 'girls' about so much cheese and milk was a bit obnoxious ...

lol

I'm just recovering from a three week long, non-stop, night and day hot flash. The thing that stopped it was black cohosh. If it weren't for that I'd still be having it. Oh and I had a phantom period with it to.

Betta watch out, there's some badass bitchs up in here......Jhikpghf

Haven't met nor seen a good nor kind one YET.

I'm STILL waiting.

but I think men are right at this point. Women are more evil. they have always been to me and I haven't ever done sh*t to deserve it either. Just being honest, which seems to be enough for them.

Don't give up.

I consider myself a lady more than a woman. I curse only when I'm angry or animated, and usually wish I hadn't. I haven't slept around - want it to be the right person. I don't believe in faking affection for the sake of material gain. I believe that discovering true, mad love is the only way any being could ever reach immortality and actually enjoy it as well. I do believe in it, I have been in it - and still would be if not for the cruelty of the gods/fate/destiny/whatever.

I did have two cats, now just one, but I really don't think that is relevant as I love all animals and would probably start my own sanctuary if I had money. Men love cats too...just let it go - it's unfair and you know it. Women like me are not going to be in bars or coffee shops waiting to be picked up. I'm taking care of my mom and cat who are both very sick right now, and maybe one day I will actually get to have a life of my own again.

I sometimes find myself getting very disappointed in men, but I realize that their constant sex drives are just something built in that they themselves will have to deal with if they ever really want to get to know a decent woman. (I have one too, just not one that practically enslaves me.) Asking for nudes, talking about your favorite porn and trying to win unannounced belching/farting contests are just a few of the things contributing to my virgin status at 31. I could go on, but you get the idea.

Maybe those of us who rise above our respective gender programming can pair up. The MGTOWs and the WGTOWs who actually respect each other. Yes, that will be a small number of people...but there's hope.
