They put nice holes in the roof. Just spray a vinegar/peppermint solution up there.
.223 is the caliber, usually around 55-grain.

Probably mice having a good old hoedown. It's funny to lay out poison for them and later hear the silence

I hear that you can get a bail of wheat straw, and light it, to let it smoulder and smoke the critters out.

You obviously are an amature, or just plain misleading the unknowing.
Study the enemy well, do you think they got in the attic from the roof?

No

They move regular like, and in small groups. They, everday, go to the water. They travel through walls, to basement, licking condesation off pipes. They can smell, as good as a dog. Some specialized ones, become ninja like and learn mind baffling moves, like going upside down on a rafter, or crawling five feet across a string.

The poision is designed to make them need water, bad. So they have to be able to make it, but they can't, they putrify in the walls, and ruin your home.

Use traps that are glued in place, or tied down. Also for the ninjas, the 5 gallon bucket, wire, and round container covered in peanut butter and sunflower seed. You can get. Them all.

Be ready when it gets cold again, they will be entering, be ready.

Mice communicat thru scent, you screw up one trap., and that one will inform the others. Attack mightyly and hard.

If they figure it out, you have to feed them on unset traps, (dismousmouse news)

Just enough water to squelch any mouse jump. In the bucket. Google bucket mouse trap.

A ninja nightmare.

Dobt leave anything that can be used as a tiny rope or plastic bag, as they will throw that over the bucket edge after major efforts, and not falling to get back out.

Though that is usaully do e, by last mouse, seeing his buddies, needing assistance.

A young mouse, last one.

A bale is bigger than a ball.

Goodbye dry attic and house and mouse.
