Amazon and automation will ruin retail.

Get an education if you can, and soon.

Who cares?

Let's be honest, I'd estimate 70% of retail employees are f*cking total morons.

Have you ever been shopping?

It is a combination of things, but the driving force is this generation of worthless liberal cry baby losers who suck at their jobs and blame the "white patriarchy" for their laziness.

So again, who cares?

Automation will ruin Amazon. On a long enough time line the survival rate for every carbon based life form or corporate body drops to zero.

We're adding jobs, dude.

People just don't want to deal with stores anymore so they shop online.

Retail is dead.

Internet Orders UP!
In store purchasing down!

Some times I go to the lovely stores to look at the THING
before I order it for a discount over the internet!

Automation Threatens Jobs But Offers Financial Freedom

http://wishful-thinking.org/index.php/20...l-freedom/

So

Robots take jobs

Congress freaks out, people unemployed taxes robots

Corporations say okay, you can tax the robots but we have to regulate the hell out of this so we can eliminate competition

Government says we love regulation

Forces you onto the dole and later you become part robot and put to work on an assembly line with other cyborgs.

The average American can't come up with an extra $500 for unexpected bills. How do they have money for shopping? People are trimming back, buying used items, bartering, etc. It's not all a direct 1:1 decline of retail = online sales.

Why would retailers cut tens of thousands of jobs again if the economy is booming?

Why would retailers cut tens of thousands of jobs again if the economy is booming?

I was asking these sorts of questions in 2008, then I've pondered the same questions for 9 years wondering when it was all going to fall apart and people come to their senses.

They haven't, it didn't fall apart, and we've essentially doubled all the world's debt. Since payment of said debt in 2008, or lack of payment, was the issue in 2008, how does adding more debt fix the problem?

It doesn't it makes the final reality twice as worse. If the next business cycle is amplified from the last one (charts show it will) then they' try to save all their fraud again. They'll keep doubling down again and again until they break the system.

It's a toy to them.
