Here is some new information for the Kenny Veach/M cave searchers. This is a hike of the East side of Sheep Peak. Kennys video and the other searches have been on the West side but since nothing has been found, maybe someone will see something on the East side. It looks more forested on the East and there are trails which is different than the West side.
The hiker says that that was a 10 hour hike on the trail so when you add that to the 10 hour hikes on the West, it is a huge area to search on just that one mountain. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoN0dA7E_iQ

Is it just me or is that search area getting bigger and bigger every time someone posts new information? Finding a small cave entrance in that terrain, especially if Kenny gave misleading directions, is going to take pure luck.

It is disheartening but it may actually come down to someone seeing something in these pictures and videos. The hikers cannot see everything and if you read the comments, people have found good leads from just viewing the area like this. The forest on this east side is going to make it harder but it thins out as they get higher up.

If you compare this one to the other pictures/videos of the western side, it is a vast area. When they get to the top and film off to the west, you can see the row of ridges from Kennys and others western videos and they look a LONG way off. I think that finding anything out there is impossible. If the M cave is between the top of Sheep Peak and those western ridges, that is a month of searches alone even if you didnt miss a gully or two.

Amazing that he got his daughter to go on this hike. Most girls these days would never leave their phones and air conditioners to hike in such a remote location. chuckle

I think he means "new" as applies to the Kenny Veach case. This video was made before Kenny even disappeared but since there is so little information about that area, this is a valuable source of clues for searchers. The Sheep Range has very few trails and no vehicle access into its heart so there are few hikers and videos to go by.
