RE: Could cancer
Considering some of these viruses can cause it, and are contagious, I'd venture to say yes.
Quote:Both DNA and RNA viruses have been shown to be capable of causing cancer in humans. Epstein-Barr virus, human papilloma virus, hepatitis B virus, and human herpes virus-8 are the four DNA viruses that are capable of causing the development of human cancers.

RE: Could cancer
That's a great question. Is it a virus that causes it? Why are there clusters? Is it environmental? Or is it transmitted from person to person.

Be contagious

There is actually a theory out there that it is a virus people contract and kick starts the cellular process that make cancer happen. Then there is the theory of health and population density causing cancer by constant environmental stress and the lack of proper food choices. There are many reasons cancer happens and to mention something a person will have around 40000 tumours over a lifetime, most of which are benign. Your body is designed to fight these numberous tumours over a lifetime.

It's when the tumours grow and spread faster than the body can deal with them is the issue. Usually it's if a major organ gets hit (liver, kidney, spine/nervous system, heart, lungs, stomache, etc) that you start making your will as soon as you learn.

Well there is that, too.
Quote:Bacteria. In addition to viruses, certain kinds of bacteria can cause some cancers. The most prominent example is the link between chronic infection of the wall of the stomach with Helicobacter pylori and gastric cancer.

Both bacteria and viruses can deliver DNA resequencing payloads. It's the same way stem cells are used in medical procedures, they infect you to 'open the door', then drop the payload of tinkered stemcells in the gap. DNA/RNA replication occurs and something gets 'fixed'. The people that do it well are the Chinese, they didn't and don't have the same religious hangups about using stemcells. They have been doing some amazing work.

Like I mentioned it's a combination of things. The body is designed to withstand only so much damage and it 'breaks'. The choices only increase your odds of survival. The thing is most of the hospital treatments are designed to cook the tumours out with high doses of radioactivity. The 'cure' can be worse than the illness and the dirty secret of that business, is the success rate isn't much higher than a placebo. It's still a coin flip.

Yeah, it's not a good situation. With the success rate on laser/chem, I often wonder if it's really not the lifestyle changes and choices that save most of the people that recover. It's hard to convince anyone sane that dosing a body with radioactive waste to cook the cancer cells is actually a cure.
