Ancient humans, the new beings, woke up in this vast world of changing perpetual motion, that went on forever. There we were, witnesses to the spectacular displays of enormous forces that shaped the heavens and Earth, and in response to all of this, we created our proverbial gods, and deemed them our creators.

Weren't you leaving the internet? I thought there was this grand plan to ride off into the sunset.

Why are you still here pushing your particular brand of insanity?

As empires become ever more conservative, it becomes rigidly socially structured, the incompetence increases exponentially, until the empire implodes, or is conquered.

if you study the collapses of empires....you will see a pattern.

What you are observing is the collapse of an empire.....

it is not going to be fun

But it was inevitable

RE: We live in an insane world.
Jonathan Locke thought that we all build our own version, model of the world, within our minds. How well your model is built determines your level of sanity.

If you think you have it all figured out, then your model is mostly delusional. Your thoughts are unhealthy.

Our infinitesimal knowledge of this world greatly limits our understanding.

Thus we often observe that which is beyond our understanding, that seems to be unreal.

Yes, when our models fail us, when the unexpected happens, that blows away our understanding, a lot of people experience fear.

Some of us experience excitement, ecstasy, pleasure, arousal.

The appearance of insanity is just a lack of imagination or understanding. Insanity makes perfect f*cking sense most of the time.

Insanity is like the word "random." It's what we say when we really mean, "I can't figure out what led to this." Too many variables? Not enough information? Can't relate? Just write it off as insanity or random chance.

People label 'insane' that which they fear or do not understand...

The secret to sanity is being able to recognize what is real and what is unreal, with the understanding that sometimes you have to go with what is unreal.

hmmmm

going to think on that a bit

This is true. It's also not the way we think it should be or the way we wish it to be. It is constantly changing, so if you are lucky enough to see it as you wish it to be it changes straight away.

RE: We live in an insane world.
We are born into a world of insanity, life and then death, kill or be killed.

A one way passage through time, where often there is no going back, no fixing mistakes.

Love, fear, happiness, anger, pleasure, pain.

The hard part is trying to stay sane.

Ancient humans, the new beings, woke up in this vast world of changing perpetual motion, that went on forever. There we were, witnesses to the spectacular displays of enormous forces that shaped the heavens and Earth, and in response to all of this, we created our proverbial gods, and deemed them our creators.
