Supposed legitimate news sites have been reduced to copypasta of tweetstorms but not only that they include the replies of absolute nobodies like all of us.

Just imagine if they were perusing forums and making 'articles' out of specific threads merely over political differences.

Excuse me for saying this but the people at Raw Story need to be pissed on repeatedly. Literally pissed on.

And the sad thing is that probably 20% of their staff is into being pissed on.

She is in the right, though, is she not?

Of course Coulter is in the right. She specifically booked a seat that would give her extra leg room because she's 6 feet tall! The woman passenger the airline switched her seat with was much shorter than Ann and no reason was given by the airline for switching her seat.

What's the point of having pre-booking of airline seats if the airline isn't going to honor the bookings?

No she didn't:

"Ann Coulter had an online meltdown on Saturday after Delta Airlines gave away an “extra room” seat she booked next to her own before the flight left the ground."

Why did Ann Coulter need an aircraft to fly? She usually just hops on a broom.

OK, if that's the case (wording was confusing and Ann took a pic of the woman and it doesn't appear there was a seat next to the woman for Ann since 2 men were sitting next to the woman- 3 seats across or 4 seats across - looks like 3 from the pic).

Regardless, if Ann did book an extra seat so she could have more room, she would have already paid for it. Very obese people book an extra seat for extra room and would be rightly upset if an airline took away one of the seats that the passenger had already paid for.

Coulter booked that extra seat so that her bloated ego could sit next to her.

Did she pay for the extra seat or was it given to her because at the time it wasn't booked/needed?

Delta: "CUSTOMERS REQUIRING EXTRA SEAT SPACE"

"If you are unable to sit in your seat without encroaching into the seat next to you while the armrest is down, please ask the agent if they can reseat you next to an empty seat. You might also consider purchasing an upgrade to First/Business Class.

We will do all possible to ensure your comfort but you might consider booking an additional seat in order to ensure your best comfort during your travel. Please call Delta Reservations at 1-800-221-1212 and they will be glad to assist."

Sounds like a corporate PC way of saying to obese people (without saying obese) that if you can't sit in a seat without spilling over into the next seat, talk to us (and they darn well will charge you for an extra seat when they do). I suppose they can't just target obese people (discrimination) and the policy needs to apply to everyone including like someone handicapped with two arms spread out in casts, etc.

Did she pay for this empty seat?

How can you book a seat you *don't* pay for?

Then what the hell is the controversy about? I think people are insane

Quote:She then tweeted a photo of the flight attendant who told Coulter she was going to have to seat someone in the empty seat.

"Why are you taking me out of the extra room seat I specifically booked, @Delta?' Flight attendant: "I don't know.”

— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) July 15, 2017

Followed by a photo of the woman who got the seat.

[email protected] didn’t give my extra room seat to an air marshall or tall person. Here’s the woman given my PRE-BOOKED seat: pic.twitter.com/iDNB8xXXOd

— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) July 15, 2017
And whined and complained.

Hey @Delta, you mind telling me why it was an "emergency" to move someone else into the seat I had carefully chosen in advance and booked?

— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) July 15, 2017
Also, @Delta, your wifi doesn't work — probably to prevent passengers from tweeting from the plane about how they're being treated.

— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) July 15, 2017
[email protected] has free wifi and doesn't wantonly remove passengers from their assigned seats, booked in advance FOR A REASON. @Delta sucks.

— Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) July 15, 2017
But the fun started when people began to respond.

Did your broom stop working?

— Crutnacker (@Crutnacker) July 15, 2017
Ann, you get a lot of hate but your bravery and resilience are commendable. Changing airplane seats is more traumatic than people realize.

— kyla crowther (@whatkylasaid) July 15, 2017
But it's a free market, so the airlines have USA freedom and liberty to do this kind of thing! Don't you care about principles? Sad!

— Elizabeth Rothwell (@egrothwell) July 15, 2017
If only you were important.

Don't you fly First Class, Princess?

— Robin Groves (@smartbunny) July 15, 2017
Perhaps they hate you

Love how bitter you are!! Go girl!

What. A. Snowflake.
.etc

chuckle

If you book and pay for space, you are entitled to it.

Libturds think entitlement is for everyone.

No money, no benefit.

Socialism doesn't work, especially on an airplane.
