Pickle juice gets rid of hangovers. What's better than that is that you can use it as a whiskey chaser. Yum!

..dont that irritate the skin ?

No. It doesn't irritate my skin, and at least I've never heard of it irritating anyone else's. It's a highly recommended drink for health purposes. Look it up.

So long, LOP! And thanks for all the fish. $200 reward offered! http://lunaticoutpost.com/thread-788432.html

Haven't had a hangover in many many years.

I do wake up thirsty sometimes and drink a lot of water.

Ok.

I'm ready for another round :D

That's the spirit!

When I was young, I had a trick though.

I'd eat some bread and drink a tad of water. Force myself to puke up the bile.

Do a few rounds of that.

But like I said I don't get them any more.

I need it today

Ha ha. Suffer through it. It might make you think twice before abusing the industrial solvent, the medical antiseptic, the automotive fuel additive, the lamp fuel, etc. Next time, sniff the industrial glues instead, it will kill those painful brain cells dead for you, fool. Lmao

RE: What's good for a hangover?
Some people say that those who don't get them are liars, but its true I don't any more.

I sometimes won't eat anything till I'm ready for bed too.

But I drink a lot of water, and pace myself.

Think it may be more of knowing my body and knowing when to stop.

I never force myself to drink more than I think I can handle. Just drink a lot and weigh a lot.

Heard wine gives some people bad headaches, but never got them.

Maybe drink for longer periods but at a less rapid pace.

RE: What's good for a hangover?
I don't drink anymore but when I did I would.

1. Coffee
2. Tylenol
3. Mexican food
4. Icy cold coke or Pepsi

For a mild hangover, I would just pleasure myself right after I woke up. Worked like a charm.

RE: What's good for a hangover?
NAC N - ACETYL CYSTEINE

"N-acetyl cysteine is also used for preventing alcoholic liver damage; for protecting against environmental pollutants including carbon monoxide, chloroform, urethanes and certain herbicides; for reducing toxicity of ifosfamide and doxorubicin, drugs that are used for cancer treatment; as a hangover remedy; for preventing kidney damage due to certain X-ray dyes; and for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)."

from web MD

It's inexpensive, many uses...good stuff

Also works for Tylenol poisoning... standard protocol if you were admitted to a hospital for that.

Ha! I used to do that too! But since I started to have lemon juice first thing in the morning (on an empty stomach), I didn't need to do it anymore.

I too haven't had a hangover in quite a while. This time I mixed too many drinks, and most importantly, I didn't eat anything. Hiding

I do not label myself. What I stand for is based on my own convictions, and I don't care which box - the left one or the right one - they happen to belong to.

I think over time, besides building up a tolerance, for those who don't get hangovers any more they build up a reliable routine of comfort.

Like on an average drinking day I drink roughly 3 bottles of wine.

Sometimes I don't eat anything at all, all day until right before bed.

Sometimes I get through like two bottles and say meh, not gonna drink any more not having as much fun as I'd like. Sometimes its iron stomach night and all 3 go down easy.

Sort of varies.

But the routine is basically the same.

I think young people press themselves without knowing themselves sometime.

But when I've got an iron stomach night and drink until the morning, its paced, with water, and not rushed.

When my body tells me no more, I listen.
