Ticked off a google right now
Advertisement
To save money I have a very limited data plan for my phone which gives me just enough to do a few things outside of range of wifi. To ensure this is cool I disabled or restricted most of the stupid apps that I could not expressly uninstall.

Stupid google seems to have pushed some dang update onto my phone that changed my settings to their defaults and it dang near ate thru all my data with its BS, and not I have to survive thru Aug 4 with basically nothing.

I hate google, but Apple is worse.

Suggestion: Get rid of your wifi, increase your data usage on your mobile device, and use your mobile device as a hot spot. If you really want to save money.

I do the exact same thing with my SuperDuper
WallyMart Special! Alcatel OneTouch!

I learned early on, you have to check settings every other
day or 2 to make sure everything is still off!

Be sure to turn off your wifi after use that helps also!
Don't just log off wifi, also turn it off in settings!
And turn off blue tooth!

I only leave cellular Data packaging,
"The Cell Phone part on!"

You just have to check your settings more frequently.

If you have a Linux computer.
You can actually open up the drive and disable google.

Some one just hinted at how to do that.
Ima not sure can you do that with windows also.
can windows even see android files?

I didn't say Apple was without sin, but Google is death incarnate. If you sign in to Google, or use chrome, then everything you do is sent back to them. If you enable Googles voice search, everything you say all the time is sent to them.
With Apple, you actually have to enable SIRI, or press the button.

Take a look at your system processes, or use wireshark or ncap. Google is listening all the time, and they have the space to store it.

Get rid of Google, it's just a search engine.

Use duckduckgo or any number of other services.

Gmail sucks anyways.

RE: Ticked off a google right now
Get an almost a smart fone from Trakfone. No gps, it browses the web, pay as you go but the data is incredibly cheap, I can read lop for an hour and it costs about 3 mins of my airtime. You cant put aps on it but you can text, send pics, browse the web and use it as a telephone too!

don't your have the option to top up your data with another 1g or so.

One should not need to top up at his/her expense because google decided to steal all their bandwidth.
