Hillary did win the popular vote. The polls were accurate. The surprise was that the Electoral College voted against the people.

They voted in accordance with the voting system of the USA, which is not a direct voting system, but an indirect voting system that counts won states with a weighting, not total number of votes.

You may not like this voting system, but how can you be surprised by the Electoral College doing exactly what they are supposed to do according to the existing system?

Lmao You people who support this EC sham are the most gullible people out there.

Well, no. Which polls are you talking about? Exit polls have nothing to do with the electoral college. In fact, polls don't take a large enough sampling to predict the Electoral College.

Polls in individual states should be able to determine the results of the electoral college if they were accurate. They weren't. You realize that a poll can be split by state right? i.e. if Hillary won Michigan like the polls said she would, she would wind up with Michigan's electoral votes. You can actually do that for all 50 states and add up all the electoral college votes to determine the winner of the election.

But the state polls weren't accurate. The electoral college did NOT go against the voters. Every state won by Hillary granted all of those states' electoral votes to her and ditto for Trump.

I can't believe I even have to explain this.

Polls can't determine the EC with such a small sample. The proof is the very fact that the pollsters were predicting a landslide Hillary win. If they could magically extrapolate EC predictions from such tiny samples, then why didn't one pollster do so? Why didn't one pollster predict that Hillary would win the popular vote and lose the EC?

Because that's not how polls work.

. . . Now I am become Death, destroyer of worlds.

Because all of the polls were wrong. I can't help you. It's exactly how polls work. They were absolutely predicting that Hillary would win the EC. Who wins the popular vote isn't even worth predicting because it's meaningless.

At street level, every proponent of the socialist "solution" either has no idea who installs it and runs it, or he astonishingly believes "the government" can be transformed into a beneficent enterprise and shed its core corruption, as it takes the reins of absolute power.

The latest poll numbers for President Trump are out and they're just as low as many of us always hoped they'd be.

According to the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll, Trump is down to a 36 percent approval rating after his first six months in office. That's the lowest recorded approval rating of any president in the past 70 years.

Is there anything or anyone more unpopular the president? Who is willing to sit next to him on the bus?

Trump, of course, called the record low approval rating simultaneously "not bad" and likely "inaccurate."

But his rating is so low that more Americans approve of certain brands of cat litter — one of the most scorned, underperforming sanitation products in the universe — than the president.

Let's compare and contrast.

Your bitching doesn't make one bit of difference, he is still your president. And he will be for 8 years because people like you remind this country every day that we voted for him to piss off people like yourself.
