I'm sure if NASA landed on the moon several decades back they can still do so now. Their tech has surely only improved.

The Flat-earth HOAX was created to squash the truth about: NASA never put man on the moon.

...and with that that there is NO life off earth, and Darwin is a hoax, too.

they are saying we CAN but we SLASHED the space budget again and again so they no long produce the parts needed to go there and do not have the budget to start manufacturing them again or design ones to replace them.

after JFK got... dealt with... there has been continual gutting of NASA budgets.

that doesn't make sense, replacement parts are way cheaper than the entire craft they go onto is

The Earth's water sure was bright blue back then. With man's pollution, I don't think the newer images of Earth are that blue anymore.

Replacement parts

Lmao

Do you think there are entire Saturn V stacks sitting in a garage in Florida just needing the odd replacement wing mirror?

Given that they promised re-usable space shuttles that could travel back and forth clear back in the 1980's, I don't think replacement parts was that unreasonable of a word usage. Hell, they sure were given tons of money back then.

RE: NASA: 'We’re No Longer Able To Visit The Moon'
Fun fact: If you believe the earth is flat, you're probably inbred.

Here's why this is most likely true. Because no other group of people believes the earth is flat more than muslims. Muslims marry their 1st cousins.

So there you have it. The earth is flat because you're inbred.

Still not moved that much forward since the 1960s in terms of actual development of certain projects... be it the giant hovercrafts that used to go from England to France or Concorde..

Has little to do with technology and more to do with market control being reduced from a myriad of companies vying to do well in the world and be inventive to a few companies just looking at their ROI.

I am hoping the next crash point will fix that broken part in the global machinery and we can break free from this stagnant era of ROI based thinking of a select few corporations..

The old moon landing stuff was all disposable, the many stages were spent, wasted, non recoverable, all built, tested, used and gone.
Some museum type places have a few pieces and that's it.
The whole purpose of the space race was rocket technology research that the people could get behind and cheer for, while huge amounts of taxes were spent on it.
It worked, guidance systems, launch and tracking, targeting, reliability...
Atomic batteries, atomic/solar thermionic generators, hydrogen fuel cells, ion thrusts, microchip technology improvements, distributed processing etc...all from the space program.

RE: NASA: 'We’re No Longer Able To Visit The Moon'
The moon is occupied and its occupants don't want us going there.

Same with Mars.

The solar system is crawling with Aliens who don't like trespassers.

That's why we ain't going anywhere.

All this talk about space travel is a lot of hooey.

Hell, they don't even like our space probes.

If you were mis-sold a product you should go back to the guy you bought it off. I think Nixon championed the Shuttle in the 70s.

Got a lot of money, spent a lot of money, did the job they were asked to do. The remaining Saturn V stacks were used for Skylab ( built inside stage 3 of a Saturn V ) missions and the Apollo Soyuz mission. I think there is one disassembled stack on display at the space centre. All the plans still exist but why recreate a 50 year old vintage machine now? There have been huge advances in electronics, computer and communication systems, new alloys and composite materials and new fabrication methods. You would start again with a more or less clean slate design that draws on acquired knowledge like the SLS rocket and Orion capsule do.
