BBC is evil, kept filming pedo jimmy savile for decades too.

Nobody knew he was a pedo until after his death.

. . . Now I am become Death, destroyer of worlds.

"A sound mind is a sound body"
note: cocaine is not good for a dog's mind (or peoples)

..unfortunately the dog's minds have been tainted over the years thru selective breeding and inbreeding for aggressiveness and negative traits
but it's certainly not fair to the breed to wipe them all out because of bad people doing bad things..they are among the most loyal breeds and will do anything to please their owners..including kill another dog

(LOP should develop it's own temperment test for posters)

No breed of dog should be left unattended with children.

then there's the rotten owners that abuse the dogs physically, and wonder why the dog turns on them..

Yep. It was the mere presence of BBC news that got the dog possessed into a spell of terror.

RE: Cozy little pit bull high on crack cocaine rips apart its owner - What a shame
You’ve got to be kidding me. The guy went into epileptic shock doing drugs, while giving his dog drugs, in front of a f*cking film crew(!)...and people blame THE DOG?!

Y’all are a special type of dumb. Jptdknpa

You need to read some studies done on dog bites. About the only thing anyone can agree on is that the media misrepresents the breed of the dog most of the time. But let’s look at the most recent one, shall we?

Quote:Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association: 2000–2009 Edit
The most recent study of the epidemiology of fatal dog bites in the United States was published in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association in 2013.[9] While earlier studies were based on television and newspaper reports, this was the first study to be based on law-enforcement reports, animal control reports, and investigator statements. It identified preventable factors in the fatal incidents. They found that the most common contributing factors were: absence of an able-bodied person to intervene, no familiar relationship of victims with dogs, owner failure to neuter dogs, compromised ability of victims to interact appropriately with dogs (e.g. mental disabilities), dogs kept isolated from regular positive human interactions versus family dogs (e.g. dogs kept chained in backyards), owners' prior mismanagement of dogs, and owners' history of abuse or neglect of dogs. Furthermore, they found that in 80% of the incidents, 4 or more of the above factors co-occurred.

The authors found that in a significant number of DBRFs there was either a conflict between different media sources reporting breed and/or a conflict between media and animal control reports relative to the reporting of breed. For 401 dogs described in various media accounts of DBRFs, media sources reported conflicting breed attributions for 124 of the dogs (30.9%); and where there were media reports and an animal control report (346 dogs), there were conflicting breed attributions for 139 dogs (40.2%)

According to this study, reliable verification of the breed of dog was only possible in 18% of incidents.

You can’t even definitively identify the breed most prone to attack. In the above study, 80% of all attacks could be attributed to a small group of factors.

So yeah, I’m calling bullshit on someone having their arms ripped off by a dog they raised from a puppy.

Although, the dog fighters around here also raise their dogs from puppyhood, so...Popcorn

crack is smoked. How did the dog do that?
sounds like BS to me too

Does sound like a bs story and probably is. But not because of crack being smoked. Cocaine is turned into crack using baking soda which is alkaline. It turns back into cocaine using something acidic such as stomach acid.

File photo of a Staffordshire bull terrier. (AP Photo)

Looks just like an ugly turd with legs. Stubborn and vicious, these should all be castrated and spayed until there are none left in the western world.
Who needs these nasty beasts? Get yourself a nice dog.

Ill say the same thing to you as I did the last moron who said such nonsense in a thread. Calling for genocide of an entire breed of any animal is going full retard. Never go full retard, jackass.

Forced castration for all male then.
This breed is not even natural, it has been engineered by man.

"Detective chief inspector Luke Marks told the court that the dog was taken to a police facility following the attack and "was due to be destroyed but I do not know if it has been."

I wonder how theY do the deed? Firing Squad, hanging, Burning at the stake. Chemical injection? This is a tough one to consider beings as I'm a dog [animal] lover myself. Oh well.

Now that ain't right - is it? Destroy the caretaker's dog leaving everybody else alone.

One of them was already "destroyed" so let it be at that instead of projecting your anger + [sorrow] onto the poor pit bull. He was only doing what his masters trained him to do, i.e., to get high and to eventually behave in an un-dog like manner. So there.

BTW: There are many out there in "dog lover land" that would be delighted to adopt the little critter rather than to see him so unceremoniously put down.

They inject them with a solution and they fall asleep/die.

I cannot believe I have to type that out and let someone know that. It's pretty basic information. Set them on fire? What the f*#k. Is this Salem Witch trials now?

That poor owner, had no idea that his dog has a coke habit. Shucks, I have to wonder if the dog was peddling drugs on the street corner to support its habit too.

Reality, most of the dog attacks that take place are due to piss poor dog owners who starve, beat, neglect or even train their dogs to be mean.

Back when I was a kid it was dobies that were the 'terror of the streets'. Why are Dobies naturally terrible dogs? No, it was because Dobies were the popular dog of choice of unsavory humans to own.

I can’t speak for other countries, but there are 3 main methods of EU. It varies from place to place, country to country. There is a video out there of a bunch of dogs being herded into a gas chamber (I think it’s more of an oxygen deprivation chamber, really) and it’s f*cking awful. Watching animals walk to the eu room is f*cking awful. Almost every single one of them fight that walk.
