No working just yet..

First I have to follow some courses/therapy like dealing with stress, social skills, etc.

Evaluation in about 6 months.

Which is more progress than in the past 7+ years, so I am happy with it.

I have to laugh. I've learned so much being here. How can I thank you?

By relaxing a bit. Don't try to make every topic about Israel or jews. Don't ruin good informative posts with an antisemitic slur.

Have a little fun.

How would would rate your English SPEAKING skills? Beginner, intermediate or expert? Can you sit at a desk and wear a headset and use a computer? If you are good at speaking and understanding English and can wear a headset for prolonged periods check out https://www.alorica.com/careers/

Work from home.

I deal with people from this company on a daily basis in the course of my job duties. You can do this. If you have decent English Jhikpghf

lol, I used to work for them, I wouldn't send my worst enemy into that hell hole. It was a good company many years ago when it was still in its start-up phase, but after 3 of the principal investors left, the owner was left with VPs who could care less about the employees, and the company is just too big now for the owner to really manage at a personable level.

If you look forward to very long hours, and barely any useful benefits, and no pay raises for years on end, and kissing supervisor ass just for a little recognition... then go ahead and hit the apply now button.

I started with them when they had less than 100 employees, and could barely make payroll. Stuck with them for almost 15 years, when I left they were worth over a billion dollars, and had close to 50k employees. Some young and newly minted manager after less than a year on the job decided I wasn't worth keeping around anymore during one of their many layoffs. we're talking 16 hour days, and sacrificing birthdays and anniversaries to ensure this company would be successful in its first 6-8 years and then regular 10-12 hour days. Last two years I took it a little easier after an episode of where my whole body started shaking uncontrollably after working 36 hours straight to fix a 2.3 million dollar f*#k up by some manager. but hey what can we say I took a 4-hour nap and finished fixing the f*#k up. This was probably the 3rd or 4th time I fixed those types of snafus for them. At the end of the day though I got someone with an MBA who didn't care and my ass became as worthless to them as 3 dollar bill.

Funny thing is those managers would not have had a job if I had not fixed their f*#k ups in the beginning, the company would not even exist today. The main reason I remained untouchable for years when my name would cross the CFO's desk because he knew that on at least two occasions it was my all-nighters of data analysis that kept them from paying out millions at a time those invoices would have shut the whole place down. As one of the original investors, he also recognized it was the difference between losing his 250k invested and retiring with close to hundred million dollars.

If the owner still had the control I would say yeah go for it, he's a good guy who recognizes talent, and people willing to put in the work and who care about their job. Unfortunately, he lost control to his VPs when it grew well out of anyone's range to manage properly. His nightmare now is being on plane 40+ weeks of the year, with what I would say is zero family life. Cheers Andy hope you got what you wanted, have another shot of butterscotch rum for me as you cross the 5 billion dollar mark.

I don't know you from toffee.

But everything I have read that you have written gives me the strong sensation you would be very valuable as a mediator.

RE: What Kind Of Job Would Fit Me?
Two serious ideas for you. Hotel or Night security guard. I've done it and as long as you work in a safe area, you basically just walk around all night and have lots of free time.

I worked at many hotels and never had a serious incident. You are there just to keep an eye on things and make the hotel guests feel safe. Easiest job I ever had. I used to talk with the night hotel staff and eat donuts and drink coffee. Just like the stereotype.

Another idea. Bartender in a laid back pub. It's the same job you do here but you'd be doing it in person and getting paid for it.

Think about it. Your forum is full of people drinking and talking sh*t. That's a bar.

If you have trouble being around alcohol though I wouldn't recommend it. Of course you could be like Sam Mallone and just drink mineral water.
