Last century's psychology, history and english majors all ended up fighting for hamburger flipper jobs.

This century so far, the business administration majors are reproducing faster than burger flipper openings.

It is the easiest one to get.

The most important subject of study for anyone is their own language.

Why?

Because EVERYTHING hinges upon language and upon a correct use of language - laws, rules, regulations, instructions, reports, announcements, etc., etc., etc.

When language is abused or misused everything goes to hell.

The fact that the importance of language study is so little appreciated in the USA today is precisely why everything is currently going to hell.

Politicians, Propagandists, and activists can get up and say anything at all without being challenged on their misuse of language.

The consequences of such ignorance and apathy on the part of listeners and readers will be extremely serious.

What? How can that be. Isn't there a shortage of general practitioners. Plus you could make a fortune writing software for the medical industry I would think.

Time to start your own company.

The LORD thunders at the head of his army; his forces are beyond number,
and mighty is the army that obeys his command.
The day of the LORD is great; it is dreadful. Who can endure it?

Screw college. Go to a good trade school. You'll make more money and you know you'll have a job when you get out. You think a piece of paper is going to do you any good now days? Learn to work with your hands and your minds and you'll never go without an income. Unless you're a damn spoiled liberal that's afraid of hard work.

I'm glad I'm a geriatric. I don't have to be smart anymore. Lmao

That's pretty sad.

I retired early, 63 now, but I'm still writing Android apps and doing other coding on my own projects and tinkering and building other things. I don't feel old yet, and I hope I won't when I get all geriatric. There's no way I'll slow down without a fight.

Yeah, you can still educate too. And you don't need a degree to hire yourself.

I never said I slowed down I said that I don't have to be smart anymore. Meaning I don't have to worry about school anymore. You ok with that?

RE: The best — and worst — master’s degrees if you want to make money
The problem with these kinds of things is that the world is always shifting, what is high flying and high paying today might not be in a decade...

There was a period in London about a decade ago where barristers where dropping out of the legal profession and learning how to be plumbers as they could make more money that way, and now the Polish plumbers undercut them..

What you want is to recognise what is going up and be on that career path..

The best degree will always be the one that gets you starting your own business, be it selling old french literature or starting your own engineering company, being tied to other peoples companies will always leave you short changed and with far less wiggle room as to what you want to do with your life.

Slavery sure does not pay anymore.

Learn how to create everything you can want and need, from gold to food from the thin air of this planet.

Alchemy or whichcraft it is not, but do you fear the possibilities that it changes our civilization, or your existence on this planet?

This knowledge is given in exchange for peace.

Want some peace?

No, then laughter is the best medicine for what ails ya, chuckle
