Around 7000 stubborn old people in the UK arechuckle
More than 7,000 people still watch TV in black and white more than half a century after colour broadcasts began.
London has the most TV licences for black and white sets at 1,768, followed by 431 in the West Midlands and 390 in Greater Manchester.
A total of 7,161 UK households have failed to start watching in colour despite transmissions starting in 1967.

if your colour blind or blind it doesn't matter. If you like old B and W movies is another reason to have a B and W TV

Haven't watched TV for almost 7 years.

But it is not a bad idea, black and white tv.

And I will put a transparent colored glass in front of it when I'll want color TV :)

I'm sure all the old people would love to watch in colour but...

What you people fail to understand is that old people struggle to keep warm and put food on the table and pay for council tax, water, gas, electric without getting hammered for £150 for a colour license.
