Not a lot but there are some gold plated boards on the circuit board panel and the plugs are usually gold-plated. Save them in a batch for dissolving in hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide

Thanks, my mate has close to 200 old flat panel s and I think may have a new hobby.

He bought a job lot of 500 knowing that some wouldn't work.

Neither of us expected that many broken.chuckle

I'm not sure how much gold is actually there, but I would suspect you can get as much $ out of the copper if you're willing to rip the boards apart and get all of the ground planes out. I guess it would depend on how much gold there is in there.
