Right now is a good time of year.

Most of the pacific islands are very cool places to holiday, very cheap as well.

King told me about how they cook dogs in 55gal drums. No lie

The guy could cut down a big tree with a machete and tear a coconut apart in his bare hands. No one to fool with for sure.chuckle

Yeah Islands are not great for farming. Pigs they have are small ones and dogs were food also. Great for fishing though.

A poor family could live under a paw paw tree and subsist indefinitely. The Western Doctors always mentioned it. People didn't have to better themselves because nature provided enough they didn't need modern education of jobs. It horrified them and offended them people did not try and better themselves. Poor western doctors who always end up suffering mental illnesses from working so hard and stressing over everything.

My buddy lived in Tonga for a few years. Old school rival of the Cook Islands along with Samoa. You never dined alone he said. You were always invited for dinner with everyone in the village every day. They told you who's house it would be at some time during the day. It depended a lot on who caught the biggest fish.

Peaceful life, no stress, no income either. Every so many years they get flattened by some storm and everyone rebuilds as if it was nothing. The Polynesians ruled the pacific unchallenged for 3000 years.

Dude my ex brother in-law was involved in a op that was going to try and depose the royal family there in Tonga. No dice as they love who they have and it was a cluster puck. I don't know who was behind it other than he had some bloodline back to the royals in England. He liked the money while it lasted for sure and spent his time drawing up shields and such.
