Jazz....has been a weird part of my hillbilly redneck life. Always seemed big city to a small town guy from the hollers of WV USA. I gave up playing sax after a few weeks in elementary school. Wish I didn't. My dad played one through high school. Never heard him play.

Now I have a son, playing his first year.... My regrets, tradition, a lot at play here in my world. My son is wanting to quit...I want him to not give up like I did. I want him to succeed where daddy failed. To be able to bring music, make music...anytime, anywhere he wants. To flourish enough to be confident.... And bring a tune others can tune into. Jazz...some crazy weird deep stuff to this hillbilly.... But my fave...all time fave...
